Who is Allianz Trade?
Allianz Trade, a company of Allianz, is the world’s leading provider of trade credit insurance, also known as Accounts Receivable Insurance. Founded in 1893, we are S&P rated AA and AM Best rated A+, insuring nearly $1 Trillion in trade transactions across 62,000 customers worldwide. We underwrite the creditworthiness of our customers’ buyers and pay them in the event of late payment or non-payment of invoices.
Why should I provide my financial data to Allianz Trade?
We often need more than trade references to effectively understand your company’s size and strength. We are often covering multiple suppliers of yours, so our credit exposure can be significant. It is to your company’s benefit to provide accurate, up-to-date financial information to Allianz Trade because it will allow us to make the most accurate assessment of your company’s creditworthiness. Without this information, we may not be able to approve and maintain as much credit coverage as we would with more visibility into your company’s financial standing. This may impact the credit limits and terms your supplier is willing to extend to you.
Companies provide their financials to us knowing we will hold the information in the strictest confidence and that our ability to approve credit insurance limits for their suppliers will support their ability to obtain higher credit lines and better terms.
What do you need from me?
Ideally, your most recent FY and any available interim Balance sheet(s), Income Statement(s) and Cash Flow Statement(s). Audited financials are preferred, but not required. If you aren’t willing or able to release that information, financial highlights with exact numbers or general ranges will often help support our ability to approve credit insurance coverage.
