Euler Hermes, the world’s leading trade credit insurer, has appointed Andrea Resteghini as Risk & Information, Claims and Collections (RICC) director of Euler Hermes Italy, with effect from September 1st, 2017.
Based in Rome, Resteghini reports to Loeiz Limon Duparcmeur, Euler Hermes Italy country manager. Having previously served as head of Risk Underwriting for Italy, he succeeds Massimo Reale who earlier was appointed as the Market Management, Commercial & Distribution director for Euler Hermes Italy.
A graduate in economics from the University of Pavia, Resteghini joined Euler Hermes Italy in 2003 after gaining experience in retail distribution with Standa Commerciale and factoring with UBI Group.
Resteghini will also continue his interim role as head of Risk Underwriting. Marco Fabbroni, head of Claims and Collections and Gianluigi Lacovino, head of Information & Grading will report directly to him.
Duparcmeur said: “Thanks to his significant experience, Andrea is well-placed to manage and further develop our Italian Italy’s risk, information, claims and collections area while providing leadership to over 150 employees. With more than 80 billion transactions covering domestic business and exports each year, he will be responsible for overseeing risk coverage and client business development. Andrea will play a key role in delivering superior client service, risk management and underwriting -- which are at the heart of the future success of Euler Hermes in Italy.”
